Staying in shape may never be the same.

California company OMSignal has created the OMbra, billed as the world's first smart bra.

Sensors in the undergarment keep tabs on heart rate, breathing rate and calories burned. Users can look at all the numbers through a mobile app, while not having to be bogged down by carrying a phone during their workouts.

OMSignal feels like the bra is a perfect fir for the marketplace. One company official said, "Women gravitate towards wearables, but they don't want an item they have to put on or worry about every day...if they're going to be wearing it all day, they want to get more information."

The OMbra, which is expected to be available sometime this spring, will cost around $150, which means you may get a workout running to the ATM to make sure you've got enough cash to afford it.
