New Movies This Week: ‘Divergent,’ ‘Muppets Most Wanted’
It's a good week to be a kid, a young adult going through 'Hunger Games' withdrawal, or a grownup who loves to watch hilarious puppet creatures with weird voices go on zany adventures and sing goofy but lovable songs.
'Divergent'
In a future society where everyone is divided into separate groups based on their skills, those who don't fit one particular group are called Divergents—and then they are killed off. One young girl escapes her fate as a Divergent and fights back against the corrupt system.
Directed by Neil Burger
Starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson
'Muppets Most Wanted'
The "World's No. 1 Criminal," a thief named Constantine, bears a striking resemblance to a certain kind-hearted green frog, pulling the whole Muppet gang into an international crime-caper conspiracy that covers many of the major cities in Europe.
Directed by James Bobin
Starring The Muppets, Tina Fey, Ty Burrell, Ricky Gervais, Ray Liotta
