Campbell Soup has issued a massive recall of its popular SpaghettiOs cans, citing calls it received from consumers indicating that parts of the red lining had been found mixed inside with the food. This could lead to choking if swallowed.

The company has recalled 350,000 cans with the following characteristics (see above photo):

  • 14.2-ounce size
  • marked with the date February 22, 2017
  • a UPC code of 51000 22432 printed under the bar code

ABC News reports that "the product was shipped to retailers in Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, California, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Idaho, Tennessee and Arkansas," though Campbell is voluntarily making it a national recall.
